The Traditional Homes concept strives to preserve the cultural heritage of Kathmandu, and it’s surrounding cities, by partnering with homeowners to convert their old residential buildings into modern guest houses. Swotha Traditional Homes, a 70 year old Newari home, was restored and opened in 2010 and was one of the few buildings to stay fairly intact during the 2015 earthquake.
