Tranquility Across the Bay: International Orange, Marin County
Do you ever go through a situation that leaves you thinking… I need a day at the spa, for a little r&r or some ‘me time’?
International Orange is a serene spot for just that.
I went for a 60 minute deep tissue massage, and a mini facial, after a day at work had me feeling pretty crappy. Although, I will admit it would of been smart to take advantage of their yoga package, but I opted for the traditional spa day. Sometimes a way to stay positive in tough situations is to “treat yourself!!”
International Orange offers curated holistic wellness, with a complete menu of luxurious treatments including facials, massages, acupuncture, and organic, biodynamic amenities, skincare and lifestyle products.
They have two locations, one in San Francisco and one in Marin, at the Marin Country Mart. I prefer the one located in Marin (pictured here), it has an indoor-outdoor lounge, sauna and steam rooms, and acts as an escape from the hustle and bustle of SF. Thanks to Marin Country Mart’s owner & developer, James Rosenfield who enlisted Matt Dick of SF’s Small Trade Co. and SF-based architect Alan Tse to create the tranquil space.

They're having a promo now where you get a free goodie if you follow them on Instagram, and/or tag a photo of them on Instagram. Hint: the goodie smells REALLY good!!
